12 Golden Square - Front of House

Contract Value: £48,000
Location: London

12 golden square

12 Golden Square is situated on the South Eastern side of the sought after Golden Square. Home to numerous prestigious media occupiers such as M&C Saatchi and Saatchi, Absolute Radio and Sony, the square is one of the most prominent media addresses in Soho. Piccadilly Circus and Oxford Circus tube stations are within a short walking distance. The available floor offers fitted out, predominantly open plan space with spectacular views over London.

THE SOLUTION

To provide a SIA licenced Receptionist that had a degree of marketing skills to assist in letting the vacant floors alongside the letting agents. This individual in essence has 3 roles in one so the person deployed would need to be of special character. Other competitor organisations were finding this quite difficult to find.

THE OUTCOME

KM Security Solutions PLC submitted a proposal based on providing the exact requirements of the customer with associated costs. Also we indicated to the customer that when the Monday to Friday specialist receptionist was on duty that this catered for the security integrity of the property but what would happen when she/he went home each evening and at weekends?

We solved this dilemma by offering an out of hours’ key-holding and alarm response service that involved the deployment of KM security staff in vehicles to arrive at the property when and if the intruder alarm activated at the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC).

We also noted that the CCTV had been installed but the monitor had been placed in the basement, some distance away from the Reception desk where the Receptionist was to be based, making viewing particularly difficult, so we re-wired the equipment and placed the pictures of the CCTV on the existing monitor used for access control and day to day usage for the likes of outlook etc.

We also noted that the rear fire exit door in the basement had no local alarm when left open so we installed a sounder in the Reception to notify of this door being unsecure
